For large, bulky furniture or office equipment (cubicle dividers, etc.), Arch Moving provides disassembly, and reassembly services for no extra charge. Disassembly of bulky items further protects items and the environment during the move and transport. Additionally, it facilitates efficient loading of the moving vehicles. Once unloaded at the new location, Arch Moving can reassemble the furniture for no additional charge.

The main caveat to our disassembly services would be any furniture made of pressed wood or particle board (i.e. flat-pack furniture) this is due to their lack of structural integrity, as these furniture pieces are not designed to be disassembled. Our movers will always do their best to secure and protect your furniture during transit but cannot disassemble flat-pack furniture.

Furniture Wrapping and Unwrapping

As part of the standard fee, Arch Moving will wrap furniture to further protect during moving and transit. Once at the destination, we will unwrap the furniture as well and discard the wrapping material.

There is an additional cost for the wrapping materials such as tape and bubble-wrap. Moving blankets and moving pads are free for same-day use. If you are moving into storage or out-of-state, there is a nominal charge for the blankets and pads.
