My husband and I used Arch Moving to help us out with our most recent move and I can't recommend them enough! Joe & Christopher came right on time, packed everything up from one basement (had to go up lots of stairs for us!) to transport it to another location's first floor and basement. They were both so positive and such hard workers. We couldn't have done it without them - thanks for making moving in the greater St. Louis area so easy! We appreciate it!

I had a moving company cancel on me last minute. I moved from another state and needed to return my Uhaul that day. I called Arch Moving and within 30 minutes, they had me booked and the movers were at my house. The guys were friendly, polite, efficient, professional, and careful with my things. They never complained, were happy to assemble my furniture, and got everything done quickly. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Arch Moving did a great job not only getting our stuff safely and quickly out of our old place and into the new one— but of transporting it from St. Louis to the middle of Missouri. Our movers Charles and Byron did a fantastic job bundling all our furniture up in the truck so that it was pristine and undamaged, and they were easy to work with, quick and thoughtful about what they were doing, responsive and generally very helpful. I would definitely recommend them and Arch Moving generally.

John N and Isaiah H were awesome. Super nice, really careful and completely professional. When it was difficult to find parking at my apartment, they were flexible and found a solution that probably made things a little harder for them, but made sure I was taken care of. But what really put them over the top was how they not only powered through when it started to pour outside, but how they both protected my furniture and were always careful to not track anything into my new home the entire time. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Can't say enough good things about our experience with Arch Moving. We had John, Myron, and Landon assist with our move to our new home. This required two trips from our old home as well as a trip to a storage unit to retrieve all of our belongings. The guys showed up ahead of schedule and immediately went to work loading boxes. Throughout the whole day, all three of them were professional and hard working, even going the extra mile to get a very heavy armoire up a tight staircase. Would definitely recommend Arch Moving for any of your moving needs!

My wife and I used Arch moving to move from our 2 bedroom apartment in Chesterfield to our new house in Wildwood in June 2022. Owen and Demetrius showed up on time. They were super friendly and loaded the truck up quickly. Everything arrived to our house without any issue. In addition, we were originally scheduled to move in early July but we were able to move into our house earlier than expected in mid-June and Arch moving was super accommodating. Their prices were in-line with all other companies in the greater St. Louis metro area. I would recommend Arch Moving and will be using them again in the future.

These movers are borderline criminal. They recklessly packed their truck and broke over $5000 worth of furniture only to reimburse us $350. They busted the drywall in our brand new home, broke multiple glass and furniture pieces, and every upholstered item on their truck had to be professionally cleaned. While I understand that no move is perfect, they were so incredibly negligent it’s hard to believe they are still in business. Absolute disaster. Do not use these movers!

Today, I had John, Randy, and Jamari.All 3 super helpful and careful. Originally, I had ask for 2 people; unfortunately, a truck broke down on the highway. Fortunately, 3 people worked out perfectly and less cost.I would recommend them over 2 men and a truck. I had experiences with them too but these company works sufficiently and fast.Thanks guys.

I was very pleased with Arch Moving. We had to make a very fast move due to a restoration problem at our home. Arch moving was very responsive and gave us an honest quote quickly.We had Freddie B, Isaiah H and Dienitrous M all assist in our move on Aug. 19th. they were all very friendly, knowledgeable, hard working and did an awesome job. We appreciated the GREAT JOB they did with our move. We will have to move again in 6 months when the work is done on our home and we plan on calling Arch Moving again!!! I contacted them on a Tuesday morning because a different company had bailed - they were responsive, helpful, and able to set up a time to unload a Ubox Wednesday morning less than 24 hrs. later!Everything went perfectly - the movers, Tyler and Eddie showed up on time, were friendly, efficient and careful with the furniture, walls/floors etc. They really helped take all the stress out of the moving process.My whole experience with Arch was fantastic, they were extremely helpful and always looking for ways to make their service as cost-effective as possible! I can't recommend this company highly enough.

3 guys Landon Joln G and Myron came to move us into our new 3500 square foot house. They were polite on time and very quick. They had us moved from the apartment into the house. Then all our stuff that was in the basement up to the rooms it belonged in. From estimate to finished. The were so egocentric our cost was almost half what we expectedThanks guys

I would not recommend this company at all! They destroyed 2 standing lamps 1 picture and every piece of furniture was knicked up and damaged. It’s been over 2 weeks now and still no action their end for compensation of damages. We were excited about moving into our new house and then devastated to see all the damage to our furniture. So yes do not use this company for your move you won’t like the results!

i am absolutely floored by the good reviews for this company. in fact, i picked this company because it had the highest reviews on several sites, and i have now started having panic attacks that were triggered by how horribly the move went. from the blood coning out of one mover's legs for nearly half the time, to the way he dragged my mattresses across multiple filthy locations, to the way the other guy spent the whole time on the phone talking as loud as he possibly he could, to the places they put my furniture, it was an absolute nightmare. plus apparently guys just decide not to show up for work at this company so your move gets pushed at the very last minute because they are so short handed. again, the good reviews are just baffling to me. i am unexpectedly having to move again, and i have no idea who to use because arch moving has taught me that reviews are useless!

Excellent experience with John N and Willie. We moved about 4000sq ft to a storage unit with several bigger items in preparation for a remodel. The movers at Arch Moving will not respect your belongings. Multiple times I experienced the movers casually setting our creme fabric couch and cushions on dirty floors and on the ground outside. Scuff marks and dirt now cover multiple of our new furniture pieces. They took their time, chatting and moving slowly…turning what was quoted as a small job of 2-4 hours into a large job of 5. When I mentioned how long things were taking, the movers sped up. However, they were careless. Things clearly marked Fragile were slammed on the floor. I am now finding smaller boxes hiding, smooshed from having heavy things on top of them. I expressed my concern about this, and the response I was given by the movers was defensive and somewhat egotistical. “What’s broken? I never break anything.”I am thoroughly disappointed and I will never recommend this company to anyone after my experience. I wish I could get my money back, at least for the damages and poor handling of my things.

Excellent service, extremely careful, courteous and very fast. No visible, damage on ANYTHING even though I had waived blanket wrapping. They didnt even bat an eye at even the worst case scenarios. (100+ degrees, large furniture in narrow, multi floor stairwells). Will definitely come back next time.

Out of 7 companies I contacted, 7/7 refuse to work past 4 pm. This appears to be an issue specific to St. Louis. I’ve not had an issue finding moving labor like this in any other location I’ve lived and it’s perplexing that companies prefer their workers, during a hot summer, to perform labor at the hottest part of the day. If you need a company that has the ability to help you with your move and doesn’t stick to rigid timeframes that only work for them, look elsewhere.

Meet the Owner

My name is Hayden Mattingly, and I am the Owner/Managing Partner of Arch Moving LLC. We are a locally owned Residential and Commercial moving company based out of St. Louis, Missouri.

I was born and raised in Paducah, KY until the age of 18 when I attended the University of Louisville where I studied Communications. I began working for Cardinal Moving and after a few years was offered the first General Manager position. During that time, Cardinal Moving became the #1 ranked moving company in the state of KY according to Google. After working my way from supervisor to manager to owner, I’m here to bring the same hard working attitude and excellent reputation to the state of Missouri with Arch Moving.

Arch Moving is dedicated to providing the residents of Missouri with low affordable rates, while still exceeding the quality of service that the people of Missouri are accustomed to. We work hard to keep our overhead low and in turn can pay our movers more, and charge our customers less. This will ensure that we create and keep a family oriented, locally owned business that will provide quality service and employment opportunities for years to come.
